There are over a hundred unique HoffmanConcept exercises covering the whole body at all difficulty levels. The Ski Jump exercise requires good stability and strength therefore it is a relatively challenging exercise. Other exercises will be uploaded shortly. The purpose of this exercise is to tilt the body while maintaining the neutral posture of the pelvis and spine. Besides the core muscles and the shoulder muscles, the rectus abdominis is trained while elongating, facilitating its activity smoothly throughout the range while maintaining a prefect posture, therefore minimal forces are placed upon the low back and shoulder girdle. The special ‘uploading’ effect is due to elastic resistance in the tracks, creating a force against the direction of the movement. Resistance can be adjusted by changing the number of elastic resistance bands – the lighter the resistance, the more challenging the exercise is on the anterior muscles of the body and the core. The Hoffman Concept exercise unit is internationally patent pending.
