Hi, I’m fifteen and I was wondering how to get exercise in the winter? There isn’t much to do where I live other than skiing and snowboarding, and I don’t like that sort of thing. I can’t jog, because it’s really, really icy and slippery. All I can think of to do is walk, which is fine, but I was wondering of there is anything else? Oh, and I’m also taking up yoga, and I was wondering if it’s considered exercise? Thanks!

Here’s a plyometric exercise that is going to take eye-foot coodination and stability, which is required for skiing. Improve reactive skills and coordination. When moving into the single leg version, hip and ankle stability is greatly increased. It is an awesome exercise to handle cutting on skis as well as improving body awareness. You will need to be on a flat surface and five dots. Tape will work, but if you are doing it in a fitness center, ask for permission to put the tape on the floor. This is an intermediate/advanced level exercise .

Hi, I’m a man of 25 years, what happens is that many years ago I went to ski, I was like 10 years old the first time my father took me one december and he took me from that december like 6 decembers without missing any year to ski, I always take skischool classes and I skied very well.
Now I’ve 9 years without skiing and I will go in one month to Colorado to ski again. In this 9 years I never stopped exercising and I am thin with athletic body.
The question is. After 9 years I will remember how to ski again? or would you recommend taking classes again from zero?
I think I remember very well how to do it but I’m not sure I can do it like 9 years ago, if anyone has good advice for me I’m going to apreciate a lot
